Introductory classes (beginners) Introductory classes begin with: History of Oriental Belly Dancing, Warming up techniques, Posture, Basic technical terminology, Listening to music and defining the times/beats. * Introductory classes last 4 weeks, 2 times per week Classes for Advanced Beginners After you have completed and mastered the beginner level, you may continue with classes for Advanced Beginners. These classes focus on: Posture, Movements of arms and hands, Combinations of movements and smooth transitions, Expression, Basic oriental rhythms, Handling the veil. * Classes for Advanced Beginners last 6 weeks, 2 times per week. Advanced Classes These classes are designed for persons who have accomplished the first two levels and oriental dance are mastering the technique and terminology, basic transitions and rhythms. At this level, we will refine the techniques, emphasizing on choreography, improvisation, presentation and will introduce more sophisticated oriental rhythms. Private classes (and semi-private) Are there certain movements that you are unable to perform during classes? Do you feel more comfortable in a quiet, one-on-one atmosphere, without other people around? Do you want to learn the Art Oriental Belly Dancing in a short time for an approaching party? Want to become a dancer? Private and semi-private classes are excellent way to deepen what you have learned during classes or to concentrate on new techniques that you want us to learn.
